Notifications on your iPad and numbered badges in GarageBand indicate that new or updated sound packs are available in the Sound Library. New sound packs have a badge labeled New, and sound packs already installed are labeled Downloaded.

Some sound packs may also be needed to perform certain tasks, such as opening a GarageBand song created on another device. In this instance, a message appears, asking if you want to download the required sound pack.

Open the Sound Library

Do one of the following:

• Tap the Browser button , swipe left or right, then tap Sound Library.

• Tap a numbered badge in the Sound browser, Template browser, Loop Browser, or anywhere you can choose instrument sounds.

Download a sound pack

1. In the Sound Library, tap the sound pack you want to download.

   Sound packs needed to open a song have a badge with an exclamation point.

2. Tap the Preview button to hear a sample of the sound pack. /ultramixer-windows-xp.html.

3. Tap Get to download the sound pack.

4. Tap Done when you finish.

Delete a sound pack

1. In the Sound Library, tap the sound pack you want to delete, then tap Delete.

2. Tap Done when you finish.

1. Close GarageBand, then open the Settings app.

2. Tap Notifications, scroll down, then tap GarageBand under Notification Style.

3. Change the various settings for GarageBand notifications.

I am a fan of last pass, using it on IE, Firefox and Chrome, but I'm a newb on the IPad. Having installed it on the IPad, it worked fine until I synced with ITunes. Now it shows as installed when I visit the apps store or LastPass,as sync'ed in ITunes, but the icon, and all trace of LastPass has vanished off the IPad. I can't download it again, because it shows as installed.Also I am unable to download any other browser apps: their dl box is dimmed out. I am raising this on LastPass as well, coz I'm such a newb.

IPad Mini :: How To Delete Mailboxes In Mail IOS 8

I have been trying to complete some housekeeping on the iPad Mini 2 with iOS 8.1.1. The first problem was to create Folders to stick the e mails in. This I managed to do via my ISP, though quite a tortuous route to take. In so doing, I now find there are a number of Folders in my .me/.cloud addresses that defy deletion.
Every time I go through the accepted route of Mail/Accounts/Account /Edit/Delete Mailbox Mail shuts down and the Mailbox is still there.
In trying to get rid of the non-required Folders, I went on to my Web Mail account and deleted all the folders I created earlier in the vane belief that if I then Reset the iPad, there would be nothing there for it to pick up and the non-required folders would no longer be synced on to the iPad. This worked fine for the normal e mail address, but the .me/,cloud (Apple) address there are three folders that will not be deleted.
What do I have to do to get them off the iPad? Do I have to get rid of the Mail App and invest in some other Mail App to get rid of the problem? It seems that looking on the internet for an answer, there are a lot of people with the same problem, which seems to stem from iOS 8.1.1.
