Djay Pro 2 Controller Compatibility

Djay Pro 2’s new features is its improved automixing, which now relies on “machine learning” and mixing data gathered from actual DJs – it’s unclear whether djay Pro 2 actually culls all of this mixing information from the cloud in real time, or if Algoriddim did all the analysis during the development phase.

Algoriddim’s djay Pro software for Mac is now compatible with the entire Pioneer DDJ series of controllers. The just-released djay Pro 1.2 natively supports the DDJ-SB, DDJ-SR, DDJ-SX, DDJ-SX2, and the DDJ-SZ, the big takeaway meaning you can now spin tunes directly from Spotify using these controllers.

Also included in the update is support for the Numark Mixtrack 3, Mixtrack Pro 3, and N4, as well as new touchpad multi-touch gestures that let you control djay Pro like a touchscreen device, making laptop-only DJing fare more comfortable.

We’re quite excited for this update because we’ve long wanted to take djay Pro out for a spin at gigs, but none of our pro controllers were supported yet (I’ve been using a DDJ-SR for over a year now). This new update changes all that, and in perfect timing for the weekend, too!

Enable full Djay for iOS compatibility to the DJ2GO2 thanks to this mapping by following these steps :


- Launch iTunes


- Connect your iOS device and let it trust your computer when prompted


- Click on the tiny device icon that appears on the top of iTunes's main section


- Click on 'File Sharing' on the left


- Find the Djay app on the app's list


Traktor pro external mixer setup. When you start TRAKTOR for the first time, the Setup Wizard will open automatically. Otherwise go to the TRAKTOR Preferences and click the Setup Wizard button in the lower left corner. First you'll be asked to connect your external devices to the computer. If you haven't done so already, connect the TRAKTOR READY device and click on Next. Recording Mixes with an External Mixer. The mix recorder that is integrated into Traktor makes it easy to record your own sets. When using a combo device that uses internal mixing mode (like Kontrol S2, Kontrol S4 and similiar controllers) almost no configuration is needed. Setting up your Audio Interface in TRAKTOR DJ. This section explains a simple setup for TRAKTOR DJ to send the Main Output and the Monitor Output (headphones) to two separate stereo output pairs of your audio interface. Connect your compatible NI audio interface to your iOS device. In our example, we are using the TRAKTOR AUDIO 2 MK2, which has been specifically designed with TRAKTOR DJ on iOS in mind. Open TRAKTOR DJ on your iOS-device. Slide your finger from the bottom of the screen up towards the middle to open the Browser. Press the 'gearwheel'-symbol in the bottom-left corner to open the Preferences and go to the Audio Setup. Important Note: If the Audio Setup is not. Traktor Pro S4 – External Mixing Mode Traktor Pro S4 is an integrated DJ package that uses the S4 controller and its internal audio device. So in general you will use the internal mixing mode of Traktor where the different audio channels are mixed together inside the software.

- Drag the mapping in the Documents section and wait until it's uploaded


- Disconnect your iPhone and connect your AMX through the USB Camera Kit (preferably USB3 version, otherwise a powered hub will be required)


Recommendations :


- I recommend disabling pre-listen auto-select mode before using this mapping (by clicking on the top-left headset icon and unchecking the auto-select box).


- Don't hesitate to post comments requesting fixes or new features. Notice this mapping's intend is to stay as close as possible to the original Serato behavior so if you wish to add other layers (when multiple modifiers will be possible) or add features that are very different from the original mapping, it'll be better to start a new project.
