Teamviewer wont let me install something on a mac. Oct 10, 2017 I am just an teamviewer user, but i think you need to call apple support for this. That a launch program won't open is a problem with apple i think. I Could not install teamviewer on my mac after download. Installation problem on Mac OS X. And macOS 10.15 (Catalina) has strengthened the security and privacy even further and requires additional permissions to be given to TeamViewer in order to control your Mac. Without this access, TeamViewer users connecting to macOS 10.14 or higher will only be able to view the screen but not control it with their mouse or keyboard. Are you logged into your account on the Mac? If you are always connecting to the Acer from the Mac, you shouldn't have to log onto your account on the Acer. On the Mac, you just enter the TeamViewer ID and password from the Acer and click the connect button. Good luck Mike. Under Windows and macOS, TeamViewer QuickSupport does not requires installation to use it. Under Windows, the TeamViewerQS.exe can be run directly after downloading it and does not install. Under macOS, the TeamViewerQS.dmg file contains the TeamViewerQS.app which can just be doubled-clicked to run the application, and does not install.
