Select Sound Effects in the left column and choose any sound effect set you like in the right column. Choose Window - Musical Typing. Drag the sound effects you want to use to keys on the Musical Typing keyboard. (You can also drag AIFF files from the Finder to this keyboard to add them.) 7. GarageBand doesn’t have an audio file manager either (like Logic Pro’s Bin) so to use the sound effect in other projects you will need to copy and paste it from one to the other. You can however use sound effect loops, if you still have iLife '11 installed. Then the iLife '11 sound effects should be showing in your Loop Browser.
