Method 1

The first method is manual removal through the Finder. This method works well in all versions of OS X. Here's how to do it:

1. Launch Finder.
2. Then click the Applications tab in the menu on the left side of the window.
3. Find the GarageBand icon in the list and select.

Method 3

There are still other ways to remove GarageBand from your Mac and save space – the default uninstaller. Here's how to do it:

1. Launch Finder.
2. Navigate to the folder where GarageBand is.
3. Find the installation file in the folder and double-click it.
4. When the package opens, you must double-click Uninstaller.
5. After that, you should follow the removal instructions and request to complete the process.

Once the process is complete, you should check the related files and folders and delete them if they still exist.
